History of this Site
This website was first placed online in early June of 1997. It was created and made functional by Red Hot Pepper (Ron Strantz) and Harry Hubbard. In the beginning, we featured a variety of Forum formats and each one, though there was a great amount of cultural appreciation, sooner or later tuned into a nasty blood bath. We were censored all over the net and we were informed by the "web police" that our Forum was the most disgusting thing they had ever seen. Nevertheless, it did draw the numbers; so many, that all the forums collapsed on the server, and the server would often jam. During those days, the internet was still very young and every time a storm blew through Florida, our website would be down for several days. Portions of the site would just fail to operate for no apparent reason. We were losing Forum posts and hyperlinks so fast we could no longer keep up with them. When it first came on line, the site featured several "wormholes" one could get lost in, or so we thought. Actually, no one ever found any of them and they were murder to keep operating. Hence, anyone reading this from the old Homepage will notice that we are now HYPERLINK reduced. That's why you see all the HOME links.
This is the 12th edition of this Homepage. From now on, we will only feature Links that cover our specific topics meaning: Paul, Harry, the Project or Alexander Helios. Should someone wish to have a link here, they must publish impressive amounts of condescending data concerning us, but they must spell our names correctly.
This website has been with 6 different servers in Florida and 5 elsewhere. This site has been through the animation stage, the music while you watch phase, the super-Hyperlink phase the changing colors, balls bouncing, twisting triangles, multi layered Forums, sphinx comes to life, monsters in the dark YOU NAME IT, we did it years ago. After Red Hot, Jake took the reigns as webmaster and really made us look good. However, the server at that time changed our security codes and we got locked out of our own web and nothing worked to download the site. Therefore, we lost all the animation Jake added to the site. A last attempt to redo the newer site proved unsuccessful.
What's important now is to provide the most simplistic and easy to manipulate website we can offer. If we can keep this site functioning properly for a substantial period of time, we would most certainly add to it. We must now have reliability as well as stability.
Many people have waited for this site to come back online again, and we'll keep it up until it breaks down or becomes another pain. We're not sure if we want to try another Forum yet, but maybe down the road.
