The Global Intelligence Files

On Monday February 27th, 2012, WikiLeaks began publishing The Global Intelligence Files, over five million e-mails from the Texas headquartered "global intelligence" company Stratfor. The e-mails date between July 2004 and late December 2011. They reveal the inner workings of a company that fronts as an intelligence publisher, but provides confidential intelligence services to large corporations, such as Bhopal's Dow Chemical Co., Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Raytheon and government agencies, including the US Department of Homeland Security, the US Marines and the US Defence Intelligence Agency. The emails show Stratfor's web of informers, pay-off structure, payment laundering techniques and psychological methods.

The chances the Greeks did this on their own are slim. We probably matched
the forensics and letting them claim credit.

ATHENS, Greece -- Greek police say a rocket-propelled grenade launcher
found in a suspected radical hideout was used against the U.S. embassy
in Athens three years ago.

A far-left group called Revolutionary Struggle claimed the audacious
Jan. 2007 attack on Greece's most heavily guarded foreign embassy, which
caused no injuries and minor damage.

Police arrested six suspected group members in April, and seized what is
believed to have been Revolutionary Struggle's main arsenal in an Athens
flat. The haul included the launcher, RPGs, firearms and explosives.

A police statement Friday said laboratory tests have confirmed the
launcher was used against the embassy.

The six suspects, all self-declared anarchists, have been charged with
terrorism and attempted murder.
